WHAT IS MULTI-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
Every agent received an email with an announcement from CMS about a NEW REQUIREMENT for agents to ensure authentication. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a method that requires the user to provide two or more verification factors instead of simply requiring a username and password to access a online account You would have had to enable this process before accessing the market directly. Once you've set it up, the next time you log in to your account, it will ask for a code to verify that YOU are logged in. This is for security purposes, it prevents anyone from entering MarketPlace using your registration without your consent, as well as any misuse.
