What is HELP ON DEMAND and how do I register?

To participate in Help On Demand, you must:

​

Complete Individual Marketplace registration and training and sign privacy and security agreements for the current plan year in the CMS Enterprise Portal.

​

Complete Help On Demand specific courses in the Marketplace Learning Management System (MLMS), only available after signing CMS agreements in the CMS Enterprise Portal.

​

Make sure you have an active state license and health-related authority line for the states where you plan to offer assistance with enrollment in Marketplace plans.

Confirm that your National Producer Number (NPN) is listed on the FFM Broker and Agent Registration Completion List.

Note: Information entered by agents and brokers in the MLMS profile information, including name, social security number, and NPN, is validated against the National Insurance Producers Registry (NIPR) public database to determine state license status. For additional information if you are having issues, check your state at  https://data.healthcare.gov/ab-registration-tracker/ .

After you successfully complete the Help On Demand training, CMS will confirm your eligibility to participate in Help On Demand. If you are new to Help On Demand, you will receive an email to register and create your Help On Demand profile within approximately two (2) business days after completing this training. If you are a returning Help On Demand user, you will NOT receive a new registration email, but you can continue to log in to the Help On Demand system with your existing credentials. If you are new to the Marketplace, it may take longer to verify your state license information with NIPR.

Help On Demand will send you an email invitation from   noreply@helpondemand.com   to the email address listed in your MLMS profile.

This activation link expires after 48 hours. Select the link provided in the email to activate your account and follow the instructions to begin your registration.

If you have completed the Help On Demand training, but have not yet received an email to set up your BigWave Systems profile, please check your spam folder. If for any reason you do not receive an email by the end of the next business day, please contact the Broker Agent Email Help Desk at  FFMProducer-AssisterHelpDesk@cms.hhs.gov .

Note: You cannot register to participate in Help On Demand if your MLMS profile settings are configured to not allow public viewing. Learn more about updating your information in MLMS.

Once you have registered to participate in Help On Demand, you can log in to your account at  https://marketplace.helpondemand.com .
