How do I create a user account?
​
To create a user account, visit https://regtap.cms.gov and select " Register as a new user 0_cc718d_ -5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_". Complete the form and select "Submit". You will receive an email to complete the process.
If you do not receive an email notification regarding your account, please check your spam folder. You should also contact your IT Department and request that autoresponder@regtap.info be added to the safe sender list. When I try to create a REGTAP account, I get a message about my email domain. How can I create an account?
This message only appears if you have used an email account from a free email domain (examples: aol.com, gmail.com). If this happens, in the box below the message that appears below your email address, please describe your role in the healthcare industry. If you are an Agent or Broker, write "Agent" or "Broker". Please note that the text will remain on the page, but you can continue to set up your account.

What should I select for the organization type?
Select the type of organization that best represents your organization. Common types of organizations include Issuers of the Federally Facilitated Market (FFM); State Based Market (SBM) Issuers; State Based Market - Federal Platform Issuers (SBM-FP); State Partnership Marketplace (SPM) issuers; Agents, Brokers and Web-brokers; State Agency/State Regulators; and browsers and market assistants. Please note that "Issuer" and "Health Plan" are used interchangeably and you must select the organization type "Issuer" which identifies the market in which your organization operates and state.
Selecting the right organization type helps ensure that you receive communications that are relevant to your organization.

What happens if I forgot my username?
Your username is the email address you used when you set up your account. To verify that your email address is registered, visit https://regtap.cms.gov and select "_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_ my password ". Enter your email address and an email will be sent to you with instructions to reset your password if your email address is associated with a REGTAP account.

What are the REGTAP password requirements?
Due to federal security requirements, passwords must meet the following guidelines:
The password must be from eight (8) to sixteen (16) characters.
The password must contain a digit or symbol (_@$%&^*!?).
The password must contain at least one (1) uppercase letter and one (1) lowercase letter.
The password cannot contain words or names from the dictionary. No words, proper names or acronyms of three (3) or more letters can be used anywhere within the password.
The password must be changed every 60 days. Users are automatically directed to the REGTAP "Update Password" screen after 60 days.
REGTAP users may not reuse the last six (6) passwords created or any passwords used in the last 12 months.
The password cannot be changed more than once in 24 hours.
The REGTAP account is locked for 60 minutes after five (5)
consecutive invalid login attempts within 120 minutes.

Additional Password Hint: You need to type the password in the field to ensure that the system reads the new password correctly.
Why am I getting an error when I try to set my password?
There are several reasons why error messages appear when setting a password. The most common problems are using words from the dictionary or not meeting the other password requirements. Words, proper names or acronyms of three (3) or more letters cannot be used within a password. Examples of words that are not allowed are rowing, Sam, and DIR. If there is a word in your password, consider using characters or numbers to replace letters: oar to 0ar (a zero instead of o), Sam to S@m, DIR to D1R, or D!R.

Training Event Registration
How do I register for REGTAP events?
Login to your REGTAP account and select the icon " Training Events ". Select the event(s) you wish to register for. You will receive a separate email notice indicating your confirmation or waitlist status for each event. Login information will be sent to confirmed registrants the business day prior to the event and again one (1) hour prior to the event. Your login information can also be retrieved from the " My Events " section on the left side of your REGTAP dashboard on the day of the event.
If you do not receive an email notification regarding your event registration, please check your spam folder. You should also contact your IT Department and request that they add autoresponder@regtap.info y no- recomly to the safe senders list. I registered for a training event; Why haven't I received a confirmation?
You should receive a confirmation or waitlist status notification within thirty (30) minutes of registering for a training event. Login information will be sent to confirmed registrants the business day prior to the event and one (1) hour prior to the event. Login information will also appear on your REGTAP dashboard for your confirmed events on the day of the event.

Why have I been placed on the waiting list?
Each event has participation guidelines to ensure training is provided to the appropriate audience. For more information, please refer to the "Purpose" training event provided on the training event registration page. If you are on the waiting list, your registration status will be reviewed. If you are later confirmed, you will receive a confirmation notice.

Can I register on behalf of another person (by Proxy)?
Yes, you can register another person for a training event by proxy. To register another person, please complete the following:
Log in to https://regtap.cms.gov and select " Training Events _cc714de905-bb58d_ -136bad5cf58d_" on your board.
Select the event you will register someone for by proxy.
Select "Sign up".
When asked if you are registering for someone else, select "Yes" and continue with the email address of the other registered person.
You will receive an email confirmation that registration is complete. The other user will receive an email with their confirmation status or waiting list for the event.
Can I have a substitute attend an event for me?
Yes, confirmed registrants can have a substitute attend in their place. Note that surrogates must be from your organization, as confirmed by the domain of the surrogate's email address. Making this update in REGTAP will apply to all remaining events in a specific series.
To assign a substitute, complete the following steps:
Log in to https://regtap.cms.gov and select " My Events _cc751905-3b-debb 136bad5cf58d_" on your dashboard.
Select the event for which you will assign a substitute by selecting the "View" icon.
Select "Substitute Registration" at the bottom of the page, then enter the substitute's email address.
How can I see all the events I have requested to attend?
Log in to https://regtap.cms.gov and select " My Events _cc751905-3b-debb 136bad5cf58d_". All events you have previously registered for will be listed.
How do I cancel my registration for an event?
To unregister from an event you have registered for, please complete the following steps, but note that the unregistration will apply to all remaining events in the specific series:

Log in to https://regtap.cms.gov and select " My Events _cc751905-3b-debb 136bad5cf58d_" on your dashboard.
Select the event you wish to unregister for by clicking the "View" button.
If the registration deadline has not passed, or if the event is a series and has not ended, you will see a "Cancel" button at the bottom of the page.

You will be asked to confirm your request; select "OK" to continue.

How do I update my email preferences and contact information?
Login to https://regtap.cms.gov and select " My Account _cc7519-3b-3bdebb05-3b-debb 136bad5cf58d_" to update your user account information. Be sure to opt in to receive important email updates from REGTAP.

Is it possible to disable the account of an employee who is no longer with our organization?
Only the owner of a REGTAP user account can make changes to their account, including deactivation. User needs to login to https://regtap.cms.gov and select " My account _cc741905-c78 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_" to update your user account information or contact REGTAP Registration Support at 1-800-257-9520 or email a Registrar@regtap.info .

Are technical specifications required to access a webinar?
Zoom provides meeting join requirements on its website en https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201179966-System-requirements-for-iOS-iPadOS- and-Android . You can test your web access and validate your browser settings in advance using the following link: https://zoom.us/test . Zoom events can be attended by computer, mobile device, or phone.

How do I access Zoom webinars by phone without a Participant ID?
To join the Zoom webinar by phone without a Participant ID, follow the prompts and select "#". Once prompted for an access code, enter the access code followed by "#" and you will be placed into the webinar by phone.

How do I receive the REGTAP daily update?
All REGTAP users who opt in to receive ACA Marketplace updates will receive REGTAP Daily Update and Training Event Announcement emails, which provide important updates and links to new training materials and events, on days when updates are available. .
Note: Agents and brokers only receive REGTAP daily update emails when content is posted specifically for agents and brokers.
If you are not receiving the REGTAP Daily Update or other REGTAP emails, please check your email notification settings at " My Account " and/or in your spam folder. You should also contact your IT Department and request that autoresponder@regtap.info be added to the safe sender list.
